Challenge:  Transplant the training and development products of Europe's "Leading Personal Branding Company" into an American franchise concept.
   Solution:  Successfully used the European brand as a platform to launch the related US products. This brand extension approach lowered the perceived risk from the perspective of the client by leveraging the existing brand awareness (thus reducing advertising expenditures). This effort was enhanced by a Lesley Everett book signing event at BORDERS Books®, local press coverage and extensive professional networking efforts.

Challenge:  A competitor's utility patent blocked our industry leader client, and all other manufacturers, from entering a profitable niche market for 10 years. Our client's related core business faced flat to declining sales.
   Solution:  In only 8 months, the IdeationPro team developed a product-based solution enabling National Diversified Sales (NDS) to enter the niche market, rejuvenate their core brand, and maintain market leadership in the face of new federal regulations impacting the business category. The IdeationPro  team created, designed and wrote all print collateral materials and manuals for a the new product launch enabling NDS to capture over $1 million of incremental annual sales.

Challenge:  Develop and implement a very strong branding strategy for a new business start-up as a barrier to entry against any "me-too" competitors who previously had not recognized a lucrative niche in the business training and development industry.
   Solution:  One of only eight professionals nominated to the “Virtual Board of Directors” by a British business to direct the launch of NewLeaf-CA.com, a franchised Southern California new business concept opened in March 2006.  A detailed brand vision, brand positioning, and brand strategy were supported by a scrutinized marketing mix aimed at carefully selected target markets.  Progress towards the written plan was regularly measured against a unique "dashboard", allowing corporate sales to significantly exceed forecast during the first year of start-up operation.

Challenge:  Our client received a sudden and rare opportunity to meet with Home Depot® corporate headquarters to sell in a line of 6 SKU's and gain their first retail presence.  Although our client had extensive wholesale distribution, out-of-the-box solutions were quickly needed to reduce retail time-to-market lead times.
   Solution:  In only 10 days, the IdeationPro  team  assembled a full launch presentation of 6 products for J-Drain® Enterprises into 50 Home Depot® stores, single-handedly developing every aspect of branding, packaging, in-store signage, product photography, and two consumer brochures.  The sales presentation was so well received that the initial distribution offer of 5 stores was raised to 50 stores.  IdeationPro strove to gain a full understanding of our client's procedures, standard lead times, logistics, manufacturing needs and capabilities to ensure deliverable and realistic commitments were made to Home Depot®.

Challenge:  Our client's corporate ROI was negatively impacted by eroding profit margins on a core product sold to both "big box" retailers and wholesale distributors. Pricing discrepancies between the retail and wholesale channels were also developing since retail accounts prohibited any price increase in response to our client's rising raw material costs.
   Solution:  The IdeationPro  team  achieved an immediate, ongoing $248,000 net income annual contribution (e.g. product cost reduction) for our manufacturing client that: reduced manufacturing defects, improved the product's performance, surpassed the competitor's similar product, and created product differentiation significant enough to dedicate a unique variation to each channel: the "old" product for the retail channel; and the "new" product to grow distribution in the wholesale channel (at the expense of the competitor's product sales).  National trade journals publicized this achievement.

Challenge:  After nearly a decade of corporate acquisitions to gain key products, ancillary or "step-child" products from those same acquisitions lay fallow since the 1990's.  This eclectic product portfolio, although loosely related to the client's core business, were neglected and produced very little sales revenue even though the portfolio contained existing federally registered trademarks, design patents, and utility patents.
   Solution:  The IdeationPro team  created and implemented a Marketing Strategy to align this hobbled group of acquisitions into a uniform brand positioned to be #1 in the US landscape products industry.  Then, the IdeationPro team directed print media projects to maintain industry leadership; wrote 5 feature articles in national trade publications.
